No one questions the difficulty of roaming through BRUCE space. I have been camped in by your forces in your old home as well as your new one. The speed and size of your responses to roaming gangs is impressive, not to mention the skill of your probers (we gave you credit when MDK played with BRUCE back in your original home), you defend your space with great vigor.
The real test is when someone brings a real force to the table, not a roaming gang. Will you be able to muster the troops of Carebear soldiers for the 5th or 6th or 7th major fleet after suffering total defeat due to a supercap blob? No one knows the answer until you face the test. Same with any alliance tbh., BRUCE stands out because of its size, and because of how quickly it has grown.
Blobbing out a 25 man BS gang is one thing, standing toe-toe with 100 T2 snipers, 100 support, and 100 Caps+Supercaps is another...
I just wonder who will bring the heat to test you...

You are wrong on so many levels.

Originally by: Piratejoe In Eve most alliances tend too have a shelf life then they wither and die. One of the few ones too survive despite the challenges tossed their way love them or hate them are BoB and RA. I personally feel Bruce is going too be added too that category. BoB has survived and held 0.0 space thru cunning, strong organization and the ability too field strong pvp fleets. RA has survived thru the typical russian mindset of never giving up ever and using any means nessesory too win.
I think Bruce will survive were others have not even though they are not overtly aggressive. The OP has implied Bruce will fold with their first real invasion, And thruout this thread it has been stated Bruce are not King PvP fighters and can only win thru large numbers. What I say is whats going too happen that would entice the majority of EVE too go on another Great War II with Bruce? Bruce is currently the second largest Alliance in game. So unless something happens that would make many Alliances turn on them in anger like how many dont like BoB or Goons I dont see them ever losing their numbers advantage. Secondly Bruce does not go out of its way too make enemys or engage in smack talk or aggressive tactics, So while yes some alliances will fight them in skirmish's I dont believe a huge uprising against them will ever happen and theirfor they will always have their numbers military edge.
My 2 Isk.
There have been many alliances which one would call "Carebear alliances" which could field massive numbers on a regular basis that folded when a real threat appeared. Frege was able to organize 60-100 man gangs regularly on defense ops, but when a real play for space was made, the carebear soldiers stopped coming.
It's easy to get people to gang up when you almost always hold the field. Its harder to convince people to risk their ships after you have been wiped out several times. BOB's heroic defense of Delve, and their ability to keep fighting is so impressive because its so rare. How many alliances have fallen apart after getting bloodied once or twice? PVP alliances have the advantage here, as pvpers generally have a different attitude towards losses than carebears.
Guess we won't really find out what will happen until the cyno goes down, and the dreads appear...
